Thank you. And I just checked our bank statements to find out a service that we’ve been paying for since apparently August 2024 and I demanded them to send all of the transaction history and things are saying January 2024.

Thank you for informing me that the article is not only out to date but also that it’s not federally pushed to protect us consumers. Right now I’m contacting the state of New York and stuff like that even though I don’t live there. I’m having to handle a business.

I have been messed around with far too long and over the years places and people have definitely regretted their choice when they met me and tried to handle me. I’m hoping that others were able to get out of contracts and their money back or at least contracts terminated.

I just reached out to the Better Business Bureau to submit a complaint aside from emailing the place requesting them to handle the situation. I’m gonna probably reach out to the state of New York as well because the website indicates that they are based out of there.

Places want their money, but when those places providing your service or product, don’t make it easy to do some of the most basic things, that’s a great concern and people will be continuously charged. I experienced that recently with too many places.

If we’re going to be smarter consumers, then we gotta try to slow down and pay attention to what we’re signing because places will prevent us from canceling things easily or getting a refund, no matter the circumstance, even if it was accidental or temporary were you even if an emergency happens.

Whether purchasing a service or product temporarily or permanent, trying to read the contract, especially the critical aspects, like cancellations, refunds, arbitrary agreements. Look at applicable state laws, federal laws, the Gray lines, challenge it.
