I took inspiration from several of the other Final Fantasy series as well who heavily feature moons into the plot and world building of their stories. The Lunar Cry and Cocoon from FF7 and 13 and FF4's two moons left a deep impression.

The biggest defining change was how Zodiark's prison weakened over the millennia and with each successive rejoining weakened the bindings to his prison. In a process not unlike how the 13ths moon becoming red as it's aether shifts towards darkness.

There are two moons in the Sundered Stars au, the largest one is a rogue moon that drifted through the starry dark of the great expanse for millennia before falling into orbit around Etheirys early in its history.

The smaller moon is the same one we visit in EW but greatly changed.
far beyond the bounds of Etheirys, In brilliant hues of yellow-gold, two moons shine defiantly in the inky star speckled expanse of space. They overlap slightly, the smallest of the pair positioned in front of the larger moon, suggesting it is in fact closer to Etheirys then the larger one. An incomplete rough diagram of the star system in which Etheirys abides in. Against a white background all major bodies. the systems sun, planets and major moons are rendered as simple black circles. The largest circle, half cut off by the image is sun, Sol/Azeyma around which many planets orbit, but in this image the five closest are shown alone, side from Etheirys these five are as of now unnamed. Another screnshot showing six planets, the first of the six being only half way in the frame of the image. Only the largest two of hte 6, gas giants each, have moons both exceeding 10 moons each.

Ah, it's been a while since the game humbled me like this, the communities general skill level and familiarity with the nightlords and everdark sovereigns made your typical run fairly sooth, but we're all babies getting obliterated by a squad 10 foot Valkyries 😩

She never loses that rage we see in her in 1.0 echo visions when she was a child and instead masks it making her a foil and mirror to Qaraar who lost their mother to the empire. Minfilia and by extension the other characters all for better and worse are given more narrative room to be angrier.
A young and angry Ascilia in the desert of Thanalan left hand held by an adult figure who's body is out of frame. In a semi-transparent black text box in white letters she says. "You don't knw anything! You'll see! It's something much worse then the Empire!" The second screenshot same as before as a followup and continuation of her dialogue box. "And you're all going to die! Speaking of Minfilia, she takes a more central role as an equal to the WoL. Someone who in this au grows alongside them since they do not travel to the First and gets to participate in HW and SB. But even before HW their autonomy and skill as a leader and diplomate is better shown.

As an act of radical reclamation and an attempt to appreciate, analyze, critique and play with the themes and concepts depicted in the story I have made virtually all the main cast and some side characters my oc's to some extent or another.

Sorry for the spam I am taking a victory lap, going to bed feeling accomplished tonight 😩 tomorrow I figure out how to apply makeup mods in texttools to so I can have her eyebags back.

mostly I'll have to figure out how to manually apply her makeup since Asym faces aren't compatible or some such. Also I need to learn how to manipulate the model better to close gaps (I am but a wee lamb in all this lmao)

Jarrah as she currently is in game with current half elezen ear mods, they don't protrude much at all and are easily hidden behind her hair, which is often in an updo of some sort with bangs that frame the side of her face hiding them from front on viewers. Jarrah as she appears now with her elezen ears, the makeup mod appears to not work with Asym faces so the dark circles under her eyes are gone.

I had this idea for a side story taking place in Holminster Switch/The First after EW from Jarrha's pov since she only returned to the Scions during 5.1 after the major events of ShB had been concluded.

And as for topside, Amdapor is another ruined land half swallowed by time and the forest that I would love to see more of. I've already half fleshed out a section of the shroud that is basically Amdapor meets Gelmorra during a void fissure arc that's a love letter to the Artorias of the Abyss dlc.
