It's maddening hearing folks talk about LLM use-cases within their tools that would seem to be so much more effectively and reliably addressed by simple domain-specific implementations of solutions.

In my mind this was core-competency stuff though, not extraneous investment-bait but the kind of features you build a product to deliver to your user #1.

But reading your linked posts, maybe I'm underestimating just how dire the situation has become with respect to understanding your user's needs.

The last time I played through ME3 was the week it shipped; I think I owe it to my love of the first two games to go back and see how it was wrangled post-launch and post-discourse.

It's time. Thanks for the nudge ❤

Love this so much, and couldn't think of a modern game more deserving to be the first carrying this seal.

Seconded!

here's one I prepared earlier
After 100%-ing Summerfall's narrative deckbuilder *Malys* and seeing a good chunk of the in-game events and dialogue, I'm even more sad that a lack of time/resources for final rounds of gameplay refinement and UI polish are likely to mean it never sees the level of attention and success it deserves.

It’s currently on sale and if any of that sounds interesting I’d encourage picking it up. There's an easy difficulty!

Even without that final 10%, what is here is well worth your time and the (very reasonable) cost, but the potential was immense. The commitment to diegetic integration of the player experience and the game's generosity in storytelling up to and beyond completion of the core loop go toe-to-toe with…
