Expressions of Interest are open until Monday 8 December 2025, and eligible practices include all listed on the 2025 Regenerative Architecture Index or registered for 2026.

The chosen practice will help shape a blueprint for future learning environments — joyful spaces that nurture curiosity, connection + agency while embodying the principles of the Regenerative Architecture Index:

The project calls for an innovative, adaptable and sustainable campus, composed of temporary yet enduring structures that engage deeply with landscape and community.

Grounded in neuroscience, complex adaptive systems and regenerative design, the Hummingbird approach reimagines how young people learn, connect and create — equipping them with the skills and ways of being needed to thrive in a rapidly changing world.
