The problem is the average consumer wants this direction to continue, Aonumas opinions are irrelevant as Nintendo as a corporate entity must produce profit and this is the obvious way to do it.

Far too many people think the whole series should be just open world games from now on simply because they like open world games more than they like Legend of Zelda.

I theorize theres few people who Trump truly hates , his a giant toddler that will put you in prison or outright have you murdered because he gets to feel like he swatted away an annoying fly. Anyone who isnt worshipping him or useful to him might as well drop dead for all he cares.

My point isnt there not being any context , nor am I / was implying that it was somehow exclusive to anyone. What Im trying to make a comment on is the fact how far the gap has grown, people reacting to X by doing Y because someone else did so instead of it being just an inside joke.

But most things had some context to it, like people know that one animated bit about badgers and mushrooms being a silly Youtube video. Adult or kid, most will not know about the numbers being related to a popular rap lyric but laugh or scream because its just what everyone seems to be doing.

Remakes survive solely due to the fact that far too many people will simply buy anything related to the thing they already enjoy or because they have no idea why making something with billion more polygons isnt automately objectively THE best possible thing to happen to an IP.

People spent very little time looking at any post while scrolling, this paired with every social media platform pushing posts what it thinks will create as much engagement as possible your gonna end up with very little comments or likes because you didnt make enough trendy noise cosistantly enough.

Also the gameplay simply being "updated" is extremely vague and should never ever be assumed to mean "improved" by default.

I cant think of any. I do not trust trust any single game company enough to do this. I do not buy things blindly just because their associated with a thing I love.

Its pretty horrifying that the US has come to the point that military personal cant come out publicly about the stance on upholding their oath to the constitutions because the dictator to be can ruin their lives or worse without a peep from mainstream media and a roar of applause from his followers.
