I didn’t say worker’s body should determine it alone. I said it should be part of the process. And we, the rest of society, can also then comment and contest on those decisions like we do w everything else. There must be a path to rehabilitation not one-off actions

Yes the whole point is that there must be a process involving workers’ bodies and not my opinion or somebody else’s

I explicitly said that she might very well have to be fired. So “she shouldn’t be fired” wasn’t my position

Even for she, I said she can be fired. But that there should be a process that involves workers’ bodies and that gives her another chance. But if you think she is worse than a murderer!!

I didn’t say it was easy. But we rehabilitate murderers too after all. Or we try anyways. Which is what we need to do in this case too, while making sure she can’t hurt people anymore. Otherwise, what other option is there?

She obviously has to be disciplined and rehabilitated to not repeat that behavior. Otherwise, what do YOU think the solution is? Should she be able to work again?

The company has many other operations. She can be moved there. And in ideal conditions a Labour council will find jobs for her elsewhere.
