Technically, yes, you're correct. But for whatever reason, I've had more success with the former (probably because I'm total shit at actual LM creation). The pictures I showed you from my last one was using a sourdough starter, not LM.

Oh...wait...the one that turned into batter for me ALSO had dark chocolate! Hmmm...
