Mozilla is asking for your opinion about what it's doing, and the survey appears to be aimed at getting you used to the idea that "AI" will become an integral focus area.

I told them that I want Mozilla to focus SOLELY on improving Firefox and Thunderbird, with zero AI in the product.

Working on a noir pastiche kind of game. I powered through the character with the faux-French accent (mon cher), now I'm facing the final boss. The Italian-a one-a. Wish me luck (or kill me now, whatever works best).

Like a friend of mine said "I have more pictures of Fuji than my son". Still feels magic, though.

Gotta love how "it's a cheat code" entered into common parlance about 15 years after actual cheat codes in games pretty much ceased to exist 😅

Hobby project: the ESMR flag burning project.
Apparently, you can buy 100 national flags for less than 10 bucks on AliExpress.
What would happen if I started a YouTube channel where I simply go through burning each one of them, on camera, without […]

Rewatching the original Evangelion series now two things really jump out
1) I guess we've been all invited to Hideaki Anno's therapy session, uh?
2) As soon as the robots are off, holy cow does the animation gets cheap 😄

Just saw a YouTube video actually explaining what a personal website is as "a primitive form of social media profile" and how did we end up in this sad sad timeline?

People may complain about modern game translation, but I can tell you: we're working on a sci-fi license from the seventies and every single time I find a sloppy, superficial, embarrassing spot, it's a damn legacy term we have to keep in for the license.

One of the cutest memories of my Rockstar Games years was the tea spoons.
In that I would do a cup of tea in the kitchen, bring it upstairs to my desk and never return the tea spoon.
To the point that one day OUR BOSS had to come to me for one.
There is no spoon. Because Alain took them all.

I lost the link, but some time ago I read an article about the use of robots in senior homes. And the conclusion is that they are just a cost-cutting measure. Of course a gym instructor "robot" with five scripts will never match a real instructor remembering grandpa's birthday. And of course a […]

Fascinating insight on how Crunchyroll first embraced fansubbing techniques (different colors/positions/timings) and now is defaulting to normal two-line subtitles.
