Alastor will be a villain later most likely but I don't think he'll be a straightforward one. So much of what he does is contradictory to what he claims. And the radiotrio and Vees parallel is too much to ignore, like the Vees staying together despite everything. Just, agh. AGH. I love them ok 🥺💖

Alastor has always had these complicated relationships with Husk and Niffty despite owning their souls. But if he didn't care about Husk, he would have not included him in the condition. If that's the case, Husk and Niffty actually made it harder for him to get out of his deal, but even so he changes his plan to save them. It literally would have been easier if he just let them die and be defeated by Vox, then leash gone. Why would someone heartless not choose this much easier way?

It seems so convoluted but he stops the fight before Niffty gets hurt. He doesn't summon either of them because he was intending to lose... And he didn't want them involved or hurt. Why else would he make the condition for them? He didn't anticipate them coming to help, he was genuinely surprised
