I haven't figured out how I'll transport them in the morning, now that I've cut all the bags.
But that is a problem for future me.. a more caffeinated me.

For the love of fish... it's 2am but they are unbagged until I can move them in the morning.

I think they've legitimately blocked my IP address this time. Ah well.

It always kicks me out eventually. But I like seeing how far I can get without flagging whatever checks are there and before some of the pictures get blocked from generating. grok.com?referrer=web...

There is record of an additional appeal to reason by Mr. Kaine within senate records after an additional vote is held (approved) on an iteration of the bill that still has extra slots tacked on the Reagan National Airport www.congress.gov/congressiona... (scroll down past the MLK topic)
February 1, 2025 at 7:37 AM
The ammendment that first introduced the extra slots to Reagan National Airport was from Mr.Owens (Utah) on 07/19/2023 and can be found here: www.congress.gov/amendment/11... (click the "text" tab if it defaults to summary view) and was met with opposition in regards to safety

Congress had been warned about flight traffic exceeding what was safe at this airport. Members of Congress were using this airport as part of commutes and were pushing for authorization of more flight slots, using additional federal exemptions, despite FAA memos/concerns www.wric.com/news/congres...

More information about the plane and helicopter victims is starting to come out. Here is a bbc article that lists those known and I think they will update as more is known: bbc.com/news/article...

Airport etiquette/requirements are set by the FAA. www.faa.gov/air_traffic/... including safe clearance area around runway, ADS-B operation, and many many othe exhaustive safety recommendations and responsibilities for pilots.

Of course this does likely mean that whatever was sent over in this memo was shouted into or through thin air. Regardless, I do not think the country is currently feeling warm fuzzies about the safety of civilian planes. Whatever has occurred has served to continue existing problems, not fix them.

And the culture of lack of caring to safety and risk mitigation continues..

My heart goes out to all those who will be affected - I am so sorry for your loss. And to those who still have a long night's search ahead: I see you. Thank you.

I tried to format someone's written transcript of the ACT audio into a screenshot so it could fit on a bluesky post. I did listen to the audio and the transcript seems accurate though I did not write it out, so please excuse any potential minor errors here

More than one rescue helicopter out there too. I don't have a great grasp on this program so I don't know what response time was and if more shifts have occurred, but they've been scouring diligently since take off.

There is a police helicopter that has been circling for the last hour and a half 😥 they are still looking.
January 30, 2025 at 5:10 AM
Tonight a military VIP transport blackhawk helicopter flew into the landing flight path of a commercial passenger CRJ700 regional jet at low altitude at Reagan Washington National Airport in Washington DC airport. That jet contained 64 people. Helicopter's ADS-B was not broadcasting.
