If we buy the theory that AI will keep improving, we also have to buy that a large part of the software that produces money today will be worth nothing. This is already happening for apps, and also for this community of "micro-saas" you mentioned. Why would I pay for something I can make for free.

As the complexity of things they can produce is increasing, this leads to (1) greater incentives for first movers, (2) a lot more things that are worth less.
Especially for simple software, this seems to already be the case, with people producing custom libraries and apps for each little thing.

Been thinking a lot about this lately.
If the current trend continues (and that's a big if, but I've been surprised), I think you're correct. First movers set the hype and profit, but everything that LLMs and agents can produce devalues rapidly and we see a tsunami of it.
