being online obscures deeper feelings, and people may be very withdrawn on top of it. this isn't a singles bar, this isn't a debate hall; people have all kinds of reasons for being online and you should establish consent for basically any kind of non-superficial interaction you have here

you have to treat people with extra care and respect and assume they are more vulnerable than they appear. they are still people on the other side of the screen.

he had an axe and a grim reaper cloak and he had some kind of psychic power, he was making people sleepwalk and jump off a cliff down to where he was waiting with the axe
