It is actually a fan control unit that allows one to attach up to 12 fans to a radiator. But it works perfectly as well for monitoring input and return temps.

And I got an SDR Heatbooster as a measuring unit with sensors tie wrapped to the pipework near my heater. The return sensor not too close to the heating unit to prevent influence by heat being conducted through the return pipe itself from the unit.

I left a rather large comment on why you are seeing lower gas usage with a lower input flow temp. :)

I hope it explain a lot on why you are getting the results you are seeing.

Seems like I ran into some bug in the new Final Cut Pro.

Jumped into a forum post with an Apple engineer, offering my problematic project. Just uploaded 75GB+ to facilitate that.
