Yeah it was a pre-spring unexpected development too. Came into the year thinking he would be battling for the long relief job. Now he's a rotation fixture.

I mean, it was kind of an unwinnable situation. If he stays at third they need Joc Pederson to get a hit against a lefty. But yeah, he was a dead duck.
