Wow! Didn't know he was retiring.
It has been a very busy year for me on multiple fronts, but I keep having people tell me, "you're doing great," like I look like I'm falling apart and need words of encouragement...which I don't think that I am? The "way to go, champ" type encouragement feels like I'm being infantilised. So strange.
