27% here for news, politics and current affairs.
34% here for awesome dogs.
39% here to see if the legend that is Mark Hamill replies to any one of my posts.

A bit sweary when it comes to racists.
That's nonsense and you are defending a child abuser.
What world do you belong to?

Just who are these "politicians" who think that there are "serious questions to answer"?
December 12, 2025 at 2:29 PM
This is the same electorate that returned Michael Fabricant to the Commons on many occassions. I think we're better just walling the place off.

Does Lichfield share a water supply with Essex and Lincolnshire or something? Nearly 80% of them voted for Tories and Reform! What's going on over there???
December 12, 2025 at 1:06 PM
It's encouraging to see that only 30% of the electorate voted for right-wing, anti-European parties. English voters, what's stopping you?
December 12, 2025 at 1:04 PM
It's about time all the UK papers did, but they won't. The media owners have decided that they want a Reform government.
December 12, 2025 at 8:37 AM
Why any Welsh voter would vote for an English nationalist party who despises the idea that a Welsh parliament should even exist is beyond me. The UK media has a lot to answer for.

De-fence! De-fence! De-fence!
December 12, 2025 at 8:14 AM
That's good to know. It'll likely cost more than flying from Heathrow but saves some headaches.
December 12, 2025 at 7:55 AM
They'll bus in party loyalists, North Korea style.
December 12, 2025 at 7:37 AM
I only recently learned that if you fly from Dublin airport, you can go through US immigration and border control in Terminal 2, which saves a lot of hassle and waiting around when you land in America. Apparently the border control agents are a lot nicer than in the US too.

It's quite telling that we've seen a sudden increase in Conservatives defecting to Reform since these stories of Farage's racism have come to the fore. It's almost as if there's something about him that these people rather like.

Exeter councillor defects from Conservatives to Reform
Alison Sheridan says she wants decisive action on several issues including illegal immigration.

The Conservative Party are the Conservative Party but without any shame.
December 11, 2025 at 7:32 PM
I see he's still parroting the nonsensical lie about the "20 mph limit". He'll fit right in with the swivel-eyed English nationalist Reform bunch.
December 11, 2025 at 4:37 PM
Now that you mention it, I wonder if Plaid do the same.
December 11, 2025 at 2:27 PM
The Board of Deputies were all over the UK media a few years ago, decrying Jeremy Corbyn for mere allegations of anti-Semitism, yet they're oddly silent in the face of actual anti-Semitic behaviour from a (very) right-wing MP. I wonder why.
December 11, 2025 at 2:00 PM
Fair enough. Starmer should reply and tell him that Reform can have the same number of peers as Plaid Cymru do since both parties have the same number of MPs.
December 11, 2025 at 12:53 PM
OK, so if I book the flight, I can just land in Dublin airport and look for the US immigration gates, yes?
December 11, 2025 at 10:56 AM
That's really helpful to know, thank you! Is the US immigration entry part done automatically if you fly from Dublin to the US or is it something that you have to know about and apply to do?
December 11, 2025 at 10:50 AM
Good luck to you. Inside of you are two wolves.

Ask your surgeon about that while you're there.

If it's a Russian advent calendar, shouldn't a journalist or opposition leader fall out of each window that you open...?
December 10, 2025 at 2:48 PM
These Tories are just desperate. It would almost be sad if they weren't awful awful people.
December 10, 2025 at 9:15 AM
Of course it does - we live in HD these days.

It won't be debated in the chamber as no time has been set aside for it. Our democratic processes need a serious overhaul.

Using mostly card payments rather than cash withdrawals does make it easier to see where the money's gone, although after most weekends, my bank statements tend to read "pub, pub, pub, pub, pub".
