Yeah, same here. As you say, realising how fortunate one is to be able to make a living from words is kind of an empathy litmus test imo. It absolutely is not the norm (more’s the pity!)

Ah, gotcha. I still prefer to use Logic for any heavy audio stuff, myself. Resolve’s audio tools are good for what they are, but a dedicated DAW can do so much more with processing and plug-ins

I had to learn Resolve when I started doing video editing during lockdown, it’s a great tool. There’s an absolute ton of great video tutorials from lots of folks on YouTube, btw.
