indie devs def do not need to start charging $70. but--i would be curious to see how a "pay what you want + set minimum price", ala bandcamp, would shake out. there have def been times i've wanted to throw a couple more bucks dev's way in such a manner

a locally owned theater in seattle (central cinema) used to do $1.99 nights pre-covid and during community college i saw a good number of random ass movies i would have never considered over a good year and a half because of it
