The republicans want closed primaries because in many areas democrats heavily vote in their primaries. But it really does not matter, they all fall in line with Abbott and Trump.

I have a curious story about Robert Chick who is running against Brandon Gill in CD26. He approached me while I was poll greeting on Election day and wanted to convince me to vote for him in the Republican primaries. Apparently his strategy is to get votes from the democrats in the GOP primaries

I agree. I volunteered for Beto since his senate run in 2018. I know how hard he works. @ernestforcongress.bsky.social is working as hard as Beto. He needs all our support!
