the Junon Parade minigame from Final Fantasy VII where you have to sneak into a procession of marching soldiers and move in sync with them. If you achieve a TV Rating of 50% or above you get a reward and I reset the game 30 times to do it right

i’m at about the point in my life where i could probably get a pokémon mini
A trio of Pokémon mini consoles with attached cartridges. One is pink with pink buttons and there’s a picture of the Pokémon Smoochum which is a little blob with blonde hair and big eyes and a big mouth. The next one is green and there’s a picture of Chikorita which is like what if a pear came alive and had a necklace and a cat brain that plots against you behind big blank eyes. The last one is blue and is all about Wooper which i think is some kind of axolotl creature with a tiny brain and a great big dopey smile. These consoles came from like the 90s i think and i really wanted one but also no place ever sold them as far as i recall

Super Cream 64 rules. i understand mario now

They are standing in a small park surrounded by collectible rings, in the background you can see the cityscape which includes a big red brick Theater for seeing movies in and a big billboard with Cream’s face and description on it, saying she’s wanted and the reward money is 1,000,000. Inside the theater is a dingy arcade hall. Cream is sat up on a chair in front of an SNK game and honestly I don’t know my SNK so it could be anything. There’s a Daytona machine and some other things in the back.

i will forever find it funny how much characterisation kendo the gun shop owner from Resident Evil 2 gets when in his first appearance he gets like 7 lines, hits on claire, then dies all within 5 minutes of starting the game

A favourite moment I had playing Infinite Fusion was getting this mon and seeing the dex entry below. The idea that someone thought about the place this creature would have in the world was so cool. For 90% of the entries to now be populated by garbage feels like being made to swallow goddamn poison

i’m enjoying this manga very much. i was in it for the mind games but the martial arts are killer and also clearly what the author actually wants to draw. my favourite fight so far is the one that takes place in a car but 10 other things are going on so occasionally they just cut back to the car

playing Driftland: The Magic Revival, a city builder RTS about mages being dickheads to each other in a world of floating islands. there's nothing like just straight up dragging an enemy isle over to your side of the map, completely exposing their castle in what used to be the heart of their empire
Here's a picture of my empire of floating islands. It's very bright and colourful and I like that. Here I am attacking an enemy castle which is right on the edge of their territory because I scooped all the other islands between them and me and made them mine. There are lots of birds attacking because you travel between islands on birds There's a great big magical vortex conjuring another island into being it's very pretty and very blue When you zoom out far enough the map transforms into this parchment cartographical representation which looks very nice. I know a lot of these types of games do this but I always enjoy it

My character is in Guild Wars 1 fighting a big yeti alongside my buddy, a computer controlled character called Lukas, who says “You will remember this as the day you were defeated by Lukas Vasburg.” In Guild Wars 2 my character is standing in front of a gravestone, which reads “Lukas Vasburg. Rest with the gods.” because Guild Wars 2 takes place 200 years later

this is the first thing you see in the game and i remember thinking wow the art style for these character portraits is really intense but then i learned oh actually it's just this one guy who's canonically this gaunt, bug-eyed ex-accountant who never really grew up, everyone else looks pretty normal

playing a bunch of this game Unavowed by Wadjet Eye Games. it's like a point and click adventure CRPG where you fight ghosts and demons in a new york city where the sky is always orange because orange means bad. i enjoy it a lot and i can't believe how pretty and detailed every screen is

You should have left me to die."
