somehow missed that you can colorize carets in css with the `caret-color` property. also just learned that you can animate that property. i hereby promise to do horrible things with this knowledge

diagramming out some long stitch bookbinding patterns. it's a fun sort of open ended spatial puzzle to solve b/c of the restrictions — uninterrupted line going in and out of a book spine, no x axis movement for thread inside the book (the dashed lines), making it vertically tileable, etc etc

also more boxes like this. i have found that commercial organizers like this with removable dividers frustrating because the sizing is off, so it's like, ok, i can have compartments that are too small or too big? that's just bad *twice*. but that goes away if you custom make it to fit your own shit
