Haha it’s about the size of my fist.

I love weaving quick little projects like this on the fly. We didn’t end up having time to teach it this last course (it was only a 7 day course) but I’m hoping my next 14 day course I’ll have the opportunity to share this skill.

Saying you are not political… IS political. Whether it is cowardice, ignorance, indifference, or calculated anti-social rhetoric doesn’t really matter. By not supporting community/environmental care, you are siding with the people causing harm to everyone else and to the environment. /rant

The thing about survival is: community care IS a survival skill, if not THE survival skill. If you do not care about others and let other people harm the environment or other people, you are a bad survivalist and have zero credibility to teach survival skills.

They either don’t want to let people know they care about others and lose followers who are fascist leaning, or outright say they don’t give a shit and lose followers who actually care about people.

When influencers say “I’m not political” what they really mean is they don’t want to share their politics because they don’t want to lose customers or followers that make them money. This is morally reprehensible.

A third option here is that you relate more to the people at the top, the billionaires (the main people responsible for destruction of the environment and human rights abuses), and think you have more in common with them than you do with everyone else.
