It’s a cold and gloomy winters morning but 11229 is on hand to bring some warmth both physically and metaphorically as she was rocking some Christmas vibes on her way into my bus stop today before entering service on the first trip of the day to Winchester!

On to the second leg of the journey - the U7! This takes me straight to Highfield via the M3! I’m not on Highfield for lectures next semester so will miss travelling on it as often! 228 does the honours today!

A bit of a later finish than hoped last night finishing up my essay and an early start today as 10893 forms the first half of my commute. Already thinking about the next essay, it has a bigger word count which makes me far happier!

Essay submitted over two days ahead of the deadline 😎 This was two source commentaries, the first on Tacitus and his othering of the Jews, and the other on antisemitic propaganda in Nazi occupied Europe. No rest though… tomorrow I start dealing with my essay on women in the Russian Revolution!

Tonight’s buses home - incidentally I had the pleasure of the luxurious and somewhat epic 1814 being my chariot in both directions on the Southampton leg. Now for one of @alitrains114.bsky.social’s favourites as the delightful and rather awesome 18512 takes me on the second leg of my journey.

Received my first marked assignment back at uni and got a 70 - so just about a first (a first is 70+) - not too bad but I want to be pushing that mark up if I can moving forward.
