Because he’s an European style democratic socialist; if he wins and shows that socialist polices actually work and make Working and Middle class citizens better off at the detriment of the wealthy, then other mayors, other State governors, other Congresspeople may well adopt similar polices.

I think it’s equally as interesting that the Greens are the second most likely to say politicians are out for themselves. Perhaps both the far left and far right think only their lot are the decent ones?
