Everyone knows data centers use a ton of water.

What hardly anyone knows: they can poison the water that remains.

And in eastern Oregon, Amazon is doing exactly that.
AI’s water problem is worse than we thought
A new investigation reveals how Amazon is amplifying Oregon’s nitrate pollution crisis.

It was the year Patagonia, burdened by human atmospheric madness, never turned white.

This ice has not come back. It may never do.

And change is easy to understand when it’s linear.

But collapse doesn’t happen in straight lines.
It happens like an explosion.

For years, melting ice was helping protect the remaining ice: when ice melts, it leaves freshwater behind, and freshwater freezes more easily than saltwater.

Well, recent satellite data shows the opposite is happening now.

And that’s a big problem.
