Ant from the QPR NYC podcast

@StayGold.Ant over on instagram for art stuff
Norwich’s home shirt is fine. Another predictable design but the detail on the collar and cuffs of the sleeves is something at least.

Feels a little half-hearted (like our attempts at defending today).

Post something random, or you’ll have an awful December

Blackburn’s home shirt is fairly standard for them. Not really the most exciting shirt in the world but mostly harmless.

It does look very shiny under the floodlights on tv like one of those “silky” late 70s/early 80s kits. Kind of odd.

I'm handling host duties this week serving up a Thanksgiving feast of #QPR chat.

We've also got supersized edition of Ant's Kit Korner featuring rovers and tigers and canaries (oh my).

If you're playing along at home, here are the kits...but are they flash🤩 or are they trash🤮?

Hull City's home shirt is the old Kappa Kombat style that looks good on no one. On the Kit Korner, @andyelrick.bsky.social will often say if something is a good fat guy kit - these are decidedly not and aren't even a good skinny guy kit. Incredible really.

The tiger stripes are cool though.

Another round of Kit Korner Internationale in this episode.

This time it's England's final World Cup qualifier opponents Albania and the USA's friendly adversaries Uruguay.

Keeper shirts as national team kits? Lace up collars? This one has it all.

But are they flash🤩 or trash🤮?

Here's the Sheffield Utd home shirt from this past weekend.

The cuff details really make this one. Not sure about that Mandarin collar and I hate that they do the block on the back for the name and number but a generally decent shirt. Midnite is a gambling sponsor but at least it looks ok.

A big wrap up of Saturday’s festivities (and a little about that Ipswich match) and then over in the Kit Korner we check out Southampton’s take on Danish Dynamite and Sheffield United’s on the Charlotte Hornets.

And of course, decide if they’re flash🤩 or trash🤮

Southampton are wearing their third shirt today, easily the worst of their kits this season. It just feels low-effort and and boring.

In the excitement of Saturday I forgot to review Ipswich’s away kit so here it is. Some kind of something going on with the sleeves that they’re describing as a “deconstruction of the modern version of the club crest.” Otherwise it’s pretty meh.

We had an incredible, emotional day on Saturday with @qprnewyorkcity.bsky.social. I’m so proud of our club, our community and everyone who contributed to a great cause. And we’re not done. We’ll have an update today on what we’ve raised so far and what’s next but for now: THANK YOU! #GoPurpleForLily

With Jimmy, we spoke about some of his favorite QPR kits and then in the Kit Korner, we took a look at Ipswich's 1996-98 away shirt.

I got to talk about my 17th birthday present, we learned what an Abbot is and of course, we decided if the shirt was flash🤩 or trash 🤮

Derby's home shirt is what a friend of mine would call "relentlessly mediocre." It's mostly ok I guess but those sleeves look awful on a screen of any kind and the sponsor sounds a little...adult.

This is the other side of the coin from the rather nice Swansea white shirt.

The Swansea City 25-26 home kit is a tribute to ska. Welsh people are notoriously big ska fans so it comes as no surprise that...wait, what's that?

The Swansea City 25-26 home kit is a tribute to their 1996-97 kit. Fittingly, a season that coincided with a chart-topping year for ska music.

In the Kit Korner this week, we take a look at a Swansea kit with a familiar sponsor that no longer exists and a Derby kit that's nostalgic for different reasons.

And of course we decide if they're flash🤩 or trash🤮
