My parents were the same as yours but this year my company sent multiple slack posts & reminders to a company-wide channel with a link to our CEO's daughter's GS cookie order form. 🙄 I miss integrity.

Yep! Caused by the original budget slashing! Hopefully it is due to a temp staffing issue rather than just shutting everything down due to the abomination.
Even if they do start up again, I worry for those who don’t have microwaves or ovens to heat the meals, or are too feeble to use them.

Even my 90-year-old mama who grew up dirt-poor and barefoot in Tennessee in the 30s & 40s who always used to tell me as I was growing up “You know ansi, you don’t have to get married if you don’t want to. And you don’t have to have kids if you don’t want to either.” knows this is bullshit.
