A lot of it is learned really early on, by parents. People aren't taught how to repair or resolve conflict so they avoid or shut down. And yes, someone who does care will bear the fire with you. Anything less is fake, imo

Very true. I don't think it's too difficult to accommodate someone, especially if you say you truly care about them!! I would love support and communication to be normalized. It has been hard to accept people aren't "there" yet, or may never be

Same. Once I learned about having "two truths" at once, black and white thinking no longer worked for me. You can't really connect with someone if they're not willing to see your side. We learn this is debate and compromise but now even support feels gate kept ): Communication and repair 💯

I enjoy being myself, maybe a bit sad I had to let go of relationships that were one sided (once I learned about people pleasing). It's like your entire perspective on life and relationships change, but it's like meeting yourself for the first time too :3

We truly need to accept people's perspectives on how they see things, or how their life is. That is what support is: supporting the way THEY see it. I find people just want to "fix" it or challenge the perspective, because w/e issue you face makes them uncomfortable. Ppl project too much these days

we all know how algorithms work, but people don't run on the same amount of time or energy. I know I am a burnout, ill adult who has only five minutes in me to look at a never-ending feed. I think people are just running on super low energy these days, but you'll find support, it just takes time
