Why is no one asking about the rumours that the successful recall petitioner in Lethbridge-East may have been “making a mockery” of the democratic process?

If this is proven to be true, Neudorf should step down. UCP MLAs and Jason Kenney claim that recent recall petitions are a misuse of the legislation. Surely a deceptive petition aimed at blocking a legitimate one would be a clear misuse of the recall process.

And if these rumours are true, that would be a particularly deceptive misuse of the recall process which the Lethbridge electorate should not condone.

I posted this on Nov 29:

Danielle Smith just confirmed that her government is bringing back “special” classrooms. Alberta parents of children with disabilities may now have to fight to have their kids included in regular classrooms. Shameful regression in educational policy and practice!

Proud to be in the latter group.

No shame! The UCP continues to blatantly threaten democracy.

When will Catholic leaders in Alberta speak out? Pope Leo is a strong proponent of the principles of Catholic social justice, one of which is the dignity of work and the rights of workers.

More standardized testing in overcrowded classrooms won’t support students’ literacy/numeracy development. What will help is reducing class sizes and providing time for teachers to work directly with individual Ss, continually monitor their progress and adjust instruction as needed.

The only thing that’s not shocking about your interaction was that he admits to being a Trump supporter. Same lack of awareness and common decency towards others.

One of my favourites memories is the night my husband and I joined Seamus for a night of conversation and craic along with his brother, Pat, in the Edmonton Irish Club.

Not at all! She’ll stay true to form and play by her own rules. Nonetheless, to allow her to continue unchallenged only serves to normalize her behaviour as is happening with Trump and his team in the US.

Or maybe just demand more accountability as to how transfer payments are spent.
September 27, 2025 at 10:36 PM
Is there a way for the federal government to step in and ensure that health transfers are used appropriately in public hospitals to treat all Albertans? People shouldn’t be languishing, and possibly dying, on waiting lists for healthcare.

And our shortsighted government is contributing further to the existing hospital crisis by limiting access to free Covid vaccines. We need to be keeping Albertans out of ERs through thoughtful preventative measures.
