We need a home ec fervor to rival the last 20 years of yelling about STEM. I will happily spend my later years teaching high school kids how to meal plan, budget, prep, and cook if needed to serve my country.

I'm going to a conference on Friday about the Supreme Court's reliance on "history and tradition," and truly one of the many many problems with originalism is how it often flattens & distorts history, creating jurisprudence that reflects the history of domination but not the history of resistance

People want government to work better, work for us, to be efficient and helpful. This is a good concrete example of how the shutdown goes completely opposite of what we want.
Imagine 4.5 years of smooth and efficient tax services for every taxpayer. The cost of this shutdown could cover that! bit.ly/4mxAEa8
