Elvis has truly left the building. I had it for about 2 years, 3 weeks of which it spent "lost" after crawling out of the snail jar (but somehow survived). It lived with the guppies, slowed down in the last couple of months, and died sometime in the past week.

I couldn't find anything about growing garlic hydroponically. I decided to try, with organic garlic from Trader Joe's. If nothing else, I'll get some garlic greens out of it. Most cloves have already grown in size. Others still have short roots.

Our school had an all-school read of Lubna and Pebble. All students painted or are planning to paint pebbles. They'll be displayed at some point. My Wednesday Doodle Club joined in on the fun. Xmas reminds me of Buddy, found by an AL interstate on 12/26/14 with a bag of food. He was 9-10yo. He went north, we got him ~9 months after & had him till just before COVID.

I'm worried about my fish tank. I just noticed that this one fish lost its flowy tail and dorsal fin, & he looks like he's injured under his face. I'm thinking the others are picking on him (all-male tank), but could it be something else?

My Tuesday Team Building Games Club played "air pump hockey". They (we) played on teams, trying to blow the pumpkin to goals at the ends of the tables. While it was fun, it just about made it impossible for me to clean my classroom afterward; my arms were dead. #STEM #afterschool

On Wednesday, Doodle Club had its (8th or 9th?) annual "Spaghetti & Eyeballs" day. I gave them ping pong balls, they drew the eyes & cling-wrapped them. Pasta was water, green glue & sodium alginate, squirted into a calcium chloride solution & then washed. #STEM #STEAM #afterschool #halloween #art
