Guys I'll have to find the photos because not many photos exist of my old work but I was very proud of my Megadeth charm bracelet. The focal piece was a photo charm I made from clipping Vic Rattlehead from the liner notes/album cover of Rust in Peace, specifically the very first Megs album I bought!

If you have all your direct deposit & autopay hooked up to a regular bank & can’t move it all at once, you can move your savings account money to a credit union (if you have a savings acct). Just make sure you keep enough money in your checking account at the bank to avoid fees, til you close it.

Another big benefit of banking with credit unions is usually they usually give you a good amount of interest on your deposits whereas most banks give virtually nothing. They also support home and car loan programs that tend to strengthen the surrounding community, so your money’s put to better use.

I don’t feel like I’m the best person to give advice on it but others have recommended banking with local/worker-owned credit unions whose risk profiles are lower. And avoiding small/mid banks taking big risks. And maybe even large banks taking big risks—they might not be bailed out like under Obama
