Before the summer, I called on the UK government to demonstrate clear leadership for ocean action by ratifying the High Seas Treaty. This is the first time in history that the high seas, are part of an international agreement and I am glad this vital legislation is progressing through Parliament.

Today, on World AIDS Day, we remember those who have lost their lives to HIV-AIDs.
It is incredibly important that we continue to fight against the stigma attached to the disease and work to achieve better healthcare.

I’m proud to have worked with the other Cornish Labour MPs and this Labour Government to deliver change for Cornwall that puts local people in charge of local services. I have always pushed for improvements in local services because I know we need better access to support in every part of our area.
