I have my own theories about how that narrative choice came about based on my own industry experience as a writer, but I don't think it's that they didn't care - I don't think they would have made the game if that was the case!

I don’t have many Very Hot Takes about narrative choices made in games because I understand that they are often SO informed/driven by production things beyond the writers’ control but that one…………..
