“More prevalent in teaching than other professions” what was known and so ignored 30 + years. Long Covid the same. Wondering if virus genomics or sampling patients with viral persistence can work in hindsight to pinpoint what was doing this in the 80s, and 90s when I got ill at school

“Can last for hours”
I’ve been told again and again on social media that because my PEM is slightly better after resting 12 up to 24+ hours that I can’t possibly have MECFS which is supposedly “always worse at 24 hours than at 12 hours.”

Fish of any kind for dinner called for my parents parsley white sauce.

Finnish mum-in-law gave very positive review for my exotic milk-based, anglo-Irish fish pie. Regular staple of our childhood

Unless it’s an academic book, it might be on audiobook facilitating both! (I finished nothing I started knitting in 2025 but sincerely believed I would every time I started. My sons sweater is close to done though - it was by resolution last Jan)

Some audience ppl also have that brass band if they venture into certain ideas, without realising they wanted a way to organise their thinking and curiosity

That’s why I’m a reader lol

I’ll be an audience for a writer’s meditation, if it’s on something, perhaps anything, interesting

Interesting. My exertion-sensitive migraines is probably related to underlying POTS. But migraine free days still be

People distrust healthcare, and often it's not the medicine itself. It's because of exceptionally negative experiences with medical "professionals." I'm a white male. And even I have experienced doctors treating me like total garbage. Makes me scared of how marginalized people are treated.

It's actually this labeller that's supposed to help identify bots. I do intentionally follow a few bot accts, but I wanted to see if there are many on bluesky.

Am I imagining it, but isn’t my iphone by default doing AI filtering? there are regular weird artifacts in my photos that can only be explained by AI “guessing” how it should assemble more than one frame together, and when you zoom in on more distantly shot faces they look like wacky strangers.

“The end is near when the necessary medicine is seen as worse then the disease”

What did this even allude to?! Back then there’s a chance medicine was worse than disease; Is it hinting nowadays it’s “seen as worse” because it once again *is* wors? I don’t get it. We know who currently is anti-med
