It still requires human intervention, which is the largest line item in any business, and bookmaking is an expensive business.

Yep. Artificial intelligence generators can render this as HTML first, which they can do breezily, then export to hi-res print media files. They wouldn't need much human intervention, if any, which I guess is the only way they can scale. Booooooo.

And I do all that by choice. I tend to get very depressed around this time of year, but I choose to do joy because no one else will choose it for me.
