Ireland V Russia. That'll work out well.

Our gov has totally lost touch with reality. Geriatric F16s or (god help us) F35s, more dangerous to the pilots flying them than the enemy.
One afternoon watching war vids from UKR tells you all: drones, & anti-drones, 100%. No glory for our martinets there.

They began doing this in Ukraine as the jammers were getting too good. Optic fibres all over the place now.

Moved back to Ireland a couple of years ago after 30 years in US (LA & Portland). Add me to the "I miss Mexican food" society. HUGE gap in the market here. Also, an actual US diner would be nice.

A disgrace. Shame on them & shame on the Labour members who voted for Starmer's leadership. It was crystal clear who & what he was, I could figure it out while living in Oregon, there is no excuse for not knowing. I'll never forget a comment in late 2019 on a left blog:

"Vote Starmer, get purged".

Especially one where we give them 2 or 3 or 4 year's advance notice!

Last 3 paras. He's a Trumper, and a supporter of Steve Bannon. Great little labour party you got there.

They can find 3.5 billion for a floating pile of shite with a broken propeller shaft. Funny how the serious adult politics understanders see the world.
Navy might have to sell off £3,500,000,000 HMS Prince of Wales aircraft carrier
'There's an awareness in the group that the Navy is struggling to maintain operational commitments and has to expand the fleet as rapidly as possible.'

I switched off the job alert thing after they started suggesting that I work as an aide for autistic children. 30 years in animation, guys, worst algo on the internet.

Dear God, these people with the "unserious" thought-stopper. They'll seriously blunder into World War 3 one day, seriously.

We all know it's just a snapshot. You're right in that polls between elections can be VERY different from the campaign (Ed Miliband led the entirety of his term as LOTO, then tanked in the GE). It's still useful as it shows were people are NOW, and what the potentials are, not the actuality of 2029.

Probably overpowered for what you want, but Storyboard PRO is a common industry program.
Toon Boom | Storyboard Pro | Professional Storyboard Solution
The only professional-grade solution designed from the ground up to support the craft of storyboarding. Where every great story begins

Unless your boards are VERY basic, do not use Krita. I use it for animation, it's really nice, but is also glitchy, and doesn't play nice with audio.

Tahoma2D if you want something with hand drawn brushes (some recommend OpenToonz, T is a fork of that, and is more user friendly). DarrenT is the man for T tuts:
Darren T
Animator and creator of OpenToonz & Tahoma2D tutorials, so that you too CAN learn this FREE animation software. And that's a DarrenT !

Krita does have a storyboard panel, but people who have used it find it too limited. K's audio is also a WIP, it has sync issues and doesn't show waveforms.

Flash / AnimateCC

You can pick up an older version if possible - would be best to avoid the CC stuff, any ancient version should work fine. I still use CS5.5 for some projects.

I was going to post about this, but got distracted as I've been in the local graveyard with my new metal detector.

I had one, it was fine. I put BeOS and Linux on it, had it triple booting at one point.

100%. Their deaths a bug, not a feature.
They were in fact, a feature.

Used to be a well known FX animator (LA based). Treated every assistant or underling like shit, reduced many to tears. Was nice to anyone his rank or higher. Then, his 'inferiors' rose in rank, and were in the position to hire & fire.
Suffice to say, he couldn't get work today if he PAID to do it.

It's the old curse "May you get what you want". They keep getting what they want, woe to them.

When that passed I knew there was no way back. Pretty much game over.
