A bit of car reading before work because I got here early and I refuse to spend more time in that building than I have to. Any excuse to spend more time with a book really.

Every year around this time I head to Avalon Marshes to see the Starlings do their thing. The 1st year I went I was blessed to have it happen right in front and over me. This year they were further off in the marshes but it's still worth it.

Picked these up for £2 each at a book sale as I wanted to replace the paperbacks I have with nicer editions. Turns out underneath these dust jackets were the originals. They're 1969/1970 editions and I'm in love. I'll cry about the fact they didn't have The Fellowship later. #booksky
