It’s not as intimidating as an average grocery store in Germany where the cashier openly assesses your bagging speed. I pretend not to know German then.

I’m noticing a sentence structure I’ve seen rarely? Never? in first year writers on their firstish drafts. It‘s a sentence with two verbs and three prepositional phrases, repeating several times in a short essay. I ask about process, and we look at the pre-ai text and the ai changes.

I will say, I support the strike. I don’t buy Starbucks (or coffee I don’t brew), so I’m not actively boycotting SB.
