That’s fair. Yet a boss’s behavior has an impact esp. on who stays. As federal workers are being treated with no measures of respect or kindness, a Hegseth-like person could take over, remove women, shout at staff, use lie detectors, mandate loyalty oaths, and make working at NIH (more) intolerable.

I’m glad he sat down w/ them and that they Killed it. It’s obvious he’s an apologist for RFK Jr. I don’t agree with Jay on many things and I’m certain he’s on the wrong side of public health history; that said, I don’t believe he is mean,toxic or narcissistic. It’s a low bar but NIH could do worse.
