Oh cool! I bought that Goldsmith SACD a long time ago because I wanted to hear the surround mix of Fireworks, but I never got a player for it.

Jupiter is my benchmark. Specifically, the very start which is sometimes too mushy, the stately horn-led bit at about 1:45 and the clarity of all the different counterpoint voices coming and going through that, then the reprise of that stately bit at 6:45 and how clear the trombone entrance is.

For whatever various reasons, I'm fond of the 1993 Vernon Handley recording. #17 on Peter's list. Tempo is just right and the performance is precise and clear.
