Homogenous society, religion, culture, race. Try and mix it up as much as we've done in the US and you'll see. Racism is everywhere.

They also have homogeneous societies. Anti-immigrant are rising in Scandinavian countries too. It's ok to pay into a system that supports people who look like you. It's not as cozy as we think.
