As someone who is from south Louisiana and the son of someone who was part of a safety council for an offshore drilling company in The Gulf of Mexico, it is imperative that NOAA stays intact for their safety and the concerns of their loved ones.

Vast majority of private and independent weather avenues use NOAA/NWS for their data. So those avenue would have a much harder time predicting accurate weather.

When a family that will not be able to afford the paid subscription to access whether before a hurricane destroys their home, who will be to blame?
