Very quiet at the mere this morning. A lone Whooper dropped in but the only other wildfowl were 5 Shoveler & 9 Mallard. 19 Cormorants on the old platform. Siskin on tall tree. @lincsbirding.bsky.social @patchbirding.bsky.social @btobirds.bsky.social @lincsnata.bsky.social @lincswildlife.bsky.social

The highlight of this morning’s seawatch at Sutton was a herd of 10 adult Whooper Swans in off which landed on the beach in front of us & started drinking & preening.
