So much description in these novels. Recently read Dickens (David Copperfield) and was reminded how wordy books of this era are. It is enjoyable to get absorbed in these long-ago worlds.

The Cavalier Daily, UVA's student newspaper, hasn't had a single FOIA request fulfilled since *July 1*. This is flatly illegal. Senator Deeds shared UVA's FOIA response with the newspaper, which allowed them to do this reporting.

Also no, immigrants are not replacing tree trimmers, they're adding to the labor pool where there are not enough workers. I see it in construction all the time, employers are constantly short of qualified labor.

My skepticism extends to the qualitative value of training as well. My impression is that it's "how to use force in a legally defensible way and when is the right time for your body cam to stop working."

And keep cops out of schools!

That seems to be have been the Dem strategy for the last decade, throw more money at "training" efforts. All it seems to have yielded are increased police budgets. Very skeptical of "training" as an answer. Fewer cops with less militarized weaponry would be my suggestion.

Is this supposed to be one of these galaxy brain memes where the last panel is that polygraph tests are pseudoscience anyway?

Not messing up back = good chair (mesh aeron style) & correct heights (use keyboard tray, screen height with top of screen at eye height.) I use a mouse a lot (for computer drafting) so I can't speak to the split keyboard.
