My lad couldn’t get tickets for London

Fortunately, he has a mate in Italy

Said they were fantastic (even if they didn’t play everything he wanted)

I’m confused as to how @england-rugby.bsky.social pick Freddie Stewart when he was concussed and failed his HIA just last Saturday

Fantastic news on Ticket Touting

At Twickenham last Saturday, seated next to me were a couple who apparently had an afternoon free, so paid “top dollar” on viagogo to try out a rugby game

My mate is cycling through Australia

These are the distances between stops as he crosses the Nullabor desert

Means he has to carry an extra 20l of water

Bike helmets save lives!

Totally agree with Zoe Backstedt

This is hard to swallow for school leaders

I'd be more inclined to believe DfE are concerned about addressing "the systemic issues that drive costs" if they properly funded aspects under their control

For instance £2.61 for FSM, a statutory requirement that schools subsidise from teaching budgets

My MP spent more repairing his old sofa

It’s just nonsense from the Times

My best mate is currently cycling around the world

This is tomorrows stage

I have no idea why some MPs are going out of their way to promote these firms

The contractual obligation is to be named in media releases and comms "made by Department for Education"

The brand promotion only applies to DfE and MPs should have no part of this tawdry scheme

The Prime Minister….

Two of the four brands are American owned

There’s no evidence hawking off naming rights will make breakfast clubs “bigger” or “better”

The most generous offer (a £200 Sainsbury’s voucher) equates to just over a pound a day extra!

Nor am I a fan of Labour researchers pitching this as a great move towards healthy meals

It’s not linked to any change in food quality or improved standards

It’s effectively a £200 voucher and £70 of free delivery

DfE could have paid for these & not had to bother with naming rites

I remember the fear in my dads face as a group of Chelsea hooligans came steaming towards us on our way towards Anfield

I was about 12 & he backed us both into a doorway as they attacked anyone left out in the street

Horrific times, where organised hooligan gangs weren't afraid of the police

As the Green Party move in on Labour voters

The writing has been on the wall for a while

Labour should be out greening the greens

Having seen how useless Gavin Williamson was yesterday, it might be that people like Johnson, Gove, Cummings and the like just didn’t trust him to make any important decisions?

This from 24/3/20 cabinet minutes is rather shocking

Boris “optimistic” that cases of Covid aren’t spreading exponentially

Only for Chris Whitey to give figures showing an exponential rise
