Yes I heard the same regarding 222001/002.
I've never been a big 222 fan when travelling on them. They're ok, and i imagine the new 810s will be ok in their own way too. HSTs and more recently the 180s were much more comfortable but that's all gone now.
Didn't need comfortable seats behind a peak!

Yes I heard the same regarding 222001/002.
I've never been a big 222 fan when travelling on them. They're ok, and i imagine the new 810s will be ok in their own way too. HSTs and more recently the 180s were much more comfortable but that's all gone now.

I always thought they should've kept them all the way until the 810s were in service. After all the time spent doing training runs, wrapping them etc etc i couldn't understand why they only spent a relatively short time with EMR when the 810s were running behind schedule. But what do we know? 🤷♂️😕
