Finished just outside the top 3 Most Responsible Person in our 4 person household for a record 13 years.
It’s not like it was a horribly complex case either. The part I’d love to see is what business case they made to the banks that lent them the money to buy the worthless marshland. It must be documented. “Lend us $25M to buy this marsh” “um but it’s worthless” “nope it’s worth $8bn in 10days time!”

I’m sure Witkoff is totally impartial here and isn’t negotiating major cash flowing his way as part of a deal. He seems such an honorable man…pffffffft.

Canada tends to look south and think “well we are obviously a waaaaay better, waaaay more compassionate and civilized society than America” and that gets reinforced as America sinks further into darkness. We still do quite well on a broader international comparison but still could do much better!

Are they the same people who write references for every grad student that say “this is the best student I have ever had” and you’re literally getting two of those side by side for awards?

Soon every admin task will be set by AI, carried out by AI, and checked by AI…an entire futile circle which yields nothing of any worth - and while that hamster wheel is spinning, we can go outside and grab a coffee or go for a ride and t play with our kids.

Every Microsoft product seems designed to be absolutely non intuitive and over designed - or at least to me! They’re like a fork that’s also a bike pump but to use either one you have to do 15 different complex operations which are only partially described in the manual. I JUST WANT A FORK!!

Amazing how many major decisions are made out of immunity from failure and penalization of innovation “we decided to use X because everyone else is using it so when it fails horribly you can’t blame me - however if I say it’s horrible and try something else and it goes wrong, I get all the blame”
