There is nothing wrong with explaining things to the reader, the issue is more the number of things being explained at once. People can get overwhelmed if they are presented with too many concepts before they have the chance to understand those concepts within the context of the story.

No. W10 was never good. It was just "good enough", provided it had decent hardware and you knew what to disable on a clean install. We just thought W10 was good because W8 was such a UX disaster, and W10 felt like a return to form. Updates have only made W10 worse over time. Windows peaked with W7.

From what I can see, everything went downhill when Microsoft decided to make Windows free just because Apple did it (Apple makes money on hardware, so they can afford to). The OS is no longer the product, we are the product. As such, Windows is now getting worse with every feature update.
