Yeh, I’ve just built an old 486 machine with parts. i’ll make an attempt to recover the drive and probably give up. BTW, the machine I’m recovering is a Goldstar GS520 laptop.

Battling with a Conner CP3044 here. Had to open it up, removed all the corroded rubber, now works, but disk is error ridden.
